Regione Abruzzo

Regione Abruzzo is the institutional lead body of the LIFE+ A_GreeNet project. It is responsible for framing the most appropriate measures for the design and implementation of green infrastructure within the scope of European and national programming funds, over which it has planning and/or management powers and responsibilities for its own territory.

Comune di Ancona

The Municipality of Ancona is involved in promoting and engaging the Marche Region to initiate the construction of green infrastructure in its regional territory, capitalising on the good practices and experiences gained within the Municipality itself in the areas of the Central Settlement and the Modern Port.

Comune di Silvi

The municipality of Silvi, along with the municipalities of Alba Adriatica and Pineto, is one of the territories where green area redevelopment takes place. In particular, the Silvi Pinewood and the Cerrano Pinewood will be involved.

Comune di Pescara

The city of Pescara has been identified as one of the most at-risk areas, showing a significant increase in extreme temperatures during the period 2007-2016 by 4.12°C, with 13 more tropical nights in 2018 compared to the 2007-2016 data and 14 more summer days compared to the same period (ISTAT). It is included in the European "Intelligent Cities Challenge" network established to develop digital transformation strategies on topics such as urban planning and management, open data, and citizen participation. In the municipal area, top-down interventions will be carried out in the form of demonstration actions, particularly in the Pescara Pinewood, the area near the Civil Hospital, and the Viale Giovanni Bovio area.

San Benedetto del Tronto

In the municipal area, top-down interventions will be carried out in the form of demonstration actions, particularly in its pinewood (where a series of micro-planting interventions and the creation of wild urban ecosystems are planned), in the green area near "Scuola Cappella" and in the green area near "Palestra Curzi".

ResAgraria

Res Agraria is a Field Trial Centre, authorised by the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies and the Ministry of Health, that offers assistance and consultancy services to public bodies.

Legambiente is the most widespread environmental association in Italy. It conducts numerous awareness and information campaigns on environmental issues. It operates at local, national, and European levels to promote sustainable development, the green economy, and climate change adaptation.
